We appreciate the ongoing efforts you are making to support music students across the country during these last few months. As the National Association for Music Education, we are making every effort to provide important resources for our members, and are looking toward the future when we can once again convene, collaborate, and celebrate the importance of music education for all students.
The health and safety of our members, students, and event participants is our priority. NAfME is continuing to monitor the health updates, guidance, and travel information provided by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and the Florida Department of Health in both Orange and Osceola Counties on Coronavirus to ensure we are taking all recommended precautions. Based on today’s information, NAfME plans to host the National Conference as scheduled in Orlando, FL in November. The situation surrounding the virus is very dynamic, and NAfME will continue to engage health and security authorities on any planned or anticipated measures that may impact travel and our ability to host the upcoming National Conference. Any and all updates will be posted on this page and shared widely with NAfME members and industry partners.
This year’s National Conference will include the NAfME PreK-12 Conference, Music Research and Teacher Education Conference, and the All-National Honor Ensembles.
Don’t miss powerful sessions, rousing student performances and the chance to connect with music educators from around the nation!
