2015 Music In Our Schools Month

“Always Sing” is the newest addition to the Concert for Music In Our Schools Month repertoire! Valory Music Co. recording artist RaeLynn debuted “Always Sing,” a song she wrote with Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins for the 30th Anniversary of Music In Our Schools Month at the 2014 National In-Service Conference.  It’s an exciting tune that embodies the spirit of music education.

With the highest charting debut single by a solo female artist in 2014, RaeLynn was recently selected as the first female for iHeart Media’s On The Verge, which showcases an artist that has the potential to break out of the pack with a great song.  She made her Grand Ole Opry debut this past September 26th to a packed house and rave reviews. In 2015, she will open for Miranda Lambert on her recently announced Certified Platinum Tour. Blake Shelton calls RaeLynn’s songs “phenomenal,” and Big Machine Label CEO Scott Borchetta has called her “one of the few writer-artists who has a true writer career and a true artist career.”

In celebration of the upcoming 30th Anniversary of Music In Our Schools Month, “Always Sing,”  will be available to NAfME members as part of the Concert for Music In Our Schools Month.

Schools are invited to learn, rehearse and post their version as part of the 30th Anniversary of MIOSM/Concert for Music In Our Schools Month.  Sheet music and piano tracks are provided courtesy of Give a Note Foundation and Rick DeJonge (arranger).  Special thanks to Warner Chappell Music and Universal Music Group.

Schools who post their version of “Always Sing” may be selected as one of up to 5 schools that will be part of the 2015 Music In Our Schools Tour.

About RaeLynn: Trading in her once-signature flouncy skirts from the national spotlight while on The Voice (season 2), 20-year-old RAELYNN is  showcasing sophistication in more than just her style. The singer/songwriter, whose diverse talents are a perfect fit everywhere from dancehalls to DJ booths has penned a diverse catalog of songs, including “God Made Girls,” her empowering debut single on The Valory Music Co. Taste of Country insists, “fans of every age will find a trio of lyrics to get behind [in ‘God Made Girls’]” while PopCrush calls her “cheerful, charming, ultra-talented and downright hilarious.” The spunky Texas native’s whimsical music video has garnered over 3 million views and she has most recently been tapped as an iHeart Radio On the Verge Artist. America’s morning show raves, “she won us over by just being herself…fully uncensored, fully engaged [and] fully entertaining.” RaeLynn commemorated her recent Grand Ole Opry debut with an #OpRaeDebut selfie from center stage. Just like her musical hero Dolly Parton, RaeLynn embraces her Country roots with a flash of pizazz. RaeLynn’s plethora of fans has continued to grow out on a well-received radio tour and with continued support from Miranda Lambert, who will take RaeLynn out on her CERTIFIED PLATINUM Tour next year. She is also featured on Blake Shelton’s “Buzzin’” from his new album. Follow RaeLynn on Twitter and http://www.raelynnofficial.net/.
