music researchAs of Spring 2019, Journal of Research in Music Education is now available digitally for all NAfME members at no additional cost! This quarterly, peer-reviewed journal is comprised of reports on original research related to music teaching and learning. The wide range of topics includes various aspects of music pedagogy, history, and philosophy, and addresses vocal, instrumental, and general music at all levels, from early childhood through adult.

 

Opportunities to Present

Later this fall NAfME will be fielding two requests for proposals to present sessions for the 2020 NAfME National Conference: Amplify 2020: Bringing the Future into Focus. Deadline will be February 3, 2020. Poised to be one of the most exciting national conferences in recent history, the 2020 event will bring the practitioner and researcher conferences under the same roof with the All-National Honor Ensembles.
