Hello – Congratulations on being called back for a second interview – that’s great! I think you should plan your lesson around whatever you feel to be your greatest teaching and/or musical strengths. I don’t think there are any particular rights or wrongs here, so you should focus on whatever will showcase your teaching and musicianship best. If you have experience with the National Core Music Standards, I recommend highlighting this – and capitalizing on how you are incorporating this new development in our profession into your teaching. Also if you can showcase some technology inclusion (like an iPad), that would be terrific too. Best of luck to you!!
