Vic Firth Ralph Hardimon sticks are great, they’re roughly the same cost as an SD1 General stick, and are much more durable. They also sound better on a marching snare, since the beads were designed specifically for that purpose. Ralphie Jr.’s are a smaller, more manageable version that can be harder to find in stores (One of the great things about Hardimon’s sticks is their avaiability at most music stores).
