Any suggestions for an interesting to listen to version of SSB that has 2-3 beginning level parts (I have 4 males and 9 females). I would prefer to not use accompaniment.

There is a version by James McKelvy published by Foster that has SSA/SATB/TTBB all in one. You can have men sing the melody and have women sing 2nd sop and alto (or just alto). It works many ways. For three part men I had baritone sing the melody and tenors sing tenors and bass sing tenor. Worked better than the TTBB.

Somewhere on the internet I’ve come across an a cappella SAB arrangement in PDF form by Joel Jacklich that is pretty easy.

I created a 3-part arrangement for my own kids last year. Would send it to you to review if I had a school address.

Kirk Marcy, choral director at Edmonds Community College in Washington, wrote a great 3 part arrangement. It is 3 part men and it is 3 part women. It can be used separately or together. It is wonderful!
