I am looking for chairs for my band room. I want those black plastic ones. Can anyone recommend a supplier and the cost I might expect to pay?

I have some black plastic ones, but I don’t think they’re the ones you’re looking for. Are you thinking Wenger?

You can create your own estimate here. I like the Wenger chairs versus regular classroom chairs because I think it encourages much better posture. It’s so easy to slouch through band like it is to slouch through English. There might be another maker that is cheaper, but these are the ones I would want.

I have the off-brand Wenger style chairs. They’re OK, but I prefer the Wenger design much better. Again, it’s not too far off (I even think Wenger took the company to court). The biggest downfall of the chairs is the plastic caps that go into the leg bars. Kids tend to pull them off and then stuff trash into the legs when I’m not looking.
