Choir Theme: Dreams

I want to create my middle school choir concert theme as “dreams” this year. I chose lots of great music about this topic, “Any Dream Will Do” “I Dreamed a Dream”… etc… but I want to tie it in with bulletin boards, activities and such throughout the year. Another teacher in my school did something with a Bucket List last year so I was trying not to “copy” off of that, but I’m looking for ideas that aren’t too hokey for middle school kids. Anyone done a similar theme?

It might be cool if your kids came up with a list of “Dreams to Do” this school year. Choral or not, academic or not… but you could put a bunch up on the board and check them off as they are accomplished. Orrr… when you have some downtime, play some “dreamy” music for the kids and have them illustrate it and use that? Maybe that’s too young for middles, this is my first year with that age group. I don’t know!
