Are there any resources for this curriculum out there as far as implementation? I’m unable to attend any workshops yet. I did notice that there is a membership association online called Feierabend Association for Music Education (FAME). Is anyone a member? Can you tell me if the membership is worth the money?
    Thanks!

Their is a dvd set that is available that goes with his First Steps curriculum. This video series is like attending a workshop with basic information. John has said that he has plans to make DVD series that goes with Conversational Solfege.

This is the first I have heard of this association. I will do a little bit more research and see what I can find. Thank you for your questions. Hopefully, I will have some answers for you soon.

I found out through other teachers that there are DVDs out regarding this program. Evidentially, Feierabend is a well known person in early childhood music education. Joining the association is like being a member of the Orff association or the Kodaly association, if you believe in the approach most join the association. If you are supportive of the pedagogical foundations of the organization of FAME then being a member seems to be a natural fit. Also, if you believe in the educational process of FAME and you are a member of the association, you could be an active participant/active force within the organization to spread the word on the effectiveness of the program.

Hope you are enjoying your summer.
