Good 2-part Lit. for HS Choir

Hello all,

I am currently teaching Band/Choir in a small school district in rural Oregon. As is the case for many schools around here, the choir I teach is a mixed bag of students who want to be in choir and some who were put there because of scheduling. As a result, I find it hard to do more than 2 parts. There is also no middle school choir which means many students, even the committed ones, have missed out on a lot of vocal instruction.

With that said, do you guys know of some good 2-part music that appeals to high school students? There is no shortage of good 2 part music but it seems to be targeted at a younger age group.

Come Jesus Holy Son of God – Handel (availlable in 2 part mixed)
Lion and the Unicorn – 2 part treble – but very adaptable
Old Abrahm Brown – Benjamin Britten
