I am need of some ideas for my GBE (Goals Based Evaluation) that apply to music. I am a choral teacher at the middle school level. For those of you who don’t know, GBE has to be something related to my area, but goes above and beyond everyday classroom teaching. My GBE for the past few years has been to create and maintain a successful Tri-M program. That is completed, now I need something new. Anybody have any ideas? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Have you tried ensemble work after school to prepare students for ensemble festivals? It takes alot of extra time and has so many rewards as students develop more skills of tuning, tone and vowel production in smaller groups. Then these skills transfer to your choirs.
