I’m going to jump full-speed-ahead into ILPs for my 6th graders. I will see them every other day for one semester. I have goals and many years of experience–just not in the specifics of ILPs. I’d LOVE to hear from others who have worked this way or who have researched this trend. Of course, we’ll continue to do lots of wonderful small and large group stuff for our brief time together, but I’d love each student to follow his/her interest throughout our time together.
