I needs some ways on justifying my kids going to a music festival in 2015? I also need help in picking the right ones for my students.

I would start with the reasons you are interested in going. To hear other groups, both similar and diverse, to expose your students to other geographic regions and cultures, to create excitement and energy in the choral program, and whatever other motivations you might have. Trips are an excellent tool in recruiting and retention. The singers bond during these trips and begin identifying with the group, therefore, trips are a great way to strengthen your choral program. The additional publicity your program will receive as you go through the process of fundraising, rehearsing, and planning the trip is also a plus.
