My band room needs a makeover

I am teaching in an older building. The walls and floors of the band room are covered in dark brown carpet (at least 20 years old) and the shelving in the storage areas is hand built and falling apart to where it may collapse. I would like to strip the room of the carpet, tile or stain the floor, paint the walls, install sound protecting stuff and install lockers for instruments in each of the storage areas. More than likely, I will not be able to get the school to pay for it, so I am looking into options for grants that would be appropriate for this project. Does anyone know of grants that would be available for such a project?
