I am working on Arabesque by Samuel Hazo and have a questions on the interpretation of the trills. At measure 35 he has written trills over eighth notes.
My question is should that trill be interpreted as 4 – 32nd notes, approaching the next note from the upper note of the trill, or treated as a 16th note triplet approaching the next note from the written note?
My dilemma is that there are 16th note triplets written 4 measures later. What is the correct way?
