Ivan Torres is the Marketing Communications Coordinator at the National Association for Music Education. In this role, he oversees email marketing coordination, website content creation and coordination, and social media support.
Ivan is a graduate of Florida State University where he double majored in Editing, Writing & Media and Sports Management. He has recently worked as a reporter, creating blogs and press releases and interviewing politicians, local elected officials, athletes, and coaches. He has experience managing social media accounts, creating marketing brochures, maintaining websites, and creating digital graphics.
He was a percussionist in his high school and middle school music programs. In his free time, he is a member of numerous sport leagues such as the Chesapeake and Potomac Softball League and DCGFFL and often travels for those hobbies.
