Kristen Rencher is the Assistant Executive Director of Marketing Communications and Student Programs, bringing over 9 years of dedicated service to the association across a spectrum of roles. Throughout her tenure, she has designed and implemented comprehensive marketing communication strategies, developed impactful member and student programs, orchestrated dynamic events, and nurtured valuable relationships with industry partners. Having been largely influenced by her music and theatre teachers, she cares deeply about emphasizing the cultural value, role, and importance of the arts.

Kristen received her Bachelor of Science in Music Industry Studies and Business from Appalachian State University, has a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky, and is a graduate of the Executive Program in Arts and Culture Strategy from the National Arts Strategies and the University of Pennsylvania.
