First Presidential Debate! Clinton & Trump, Head to Head!

Tonight, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will face-off in the first of three presidential debates. The presidential debate kicks off at 9:00 PM EST and will run commercial free throughout its 90-minute duration.

What You Need to Know

Moderator: Lester Holt – NBC News

Location: Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY

Format: The first Presidential debate will be divided into six segments with approximately 15 minutes on each major topic selected by the moderator. Moderator will open each segment with a question, which candidates have the opportunity to respond in two minutes or less. Candidates will have an opportunity to respond to each other’s answers.

How to Watch: The debate will be aired through all major TV news networks, including NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, Fox News, MSNBC, Univision, C-SPAN, and CNN.

In addition, several websites have cut deals this year to bring the debate online. Facebook will be ABC News’ coverage through Facebook Live. Twitter has partnered with Bloomberg TV for full coverage of the debates and has made the stream available through Twitter.com. YouTube will provide live-streaming coverage from multiple organizations, including NBC News, PBS, Fox news, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, and Telemundo.
