As we begin the 30th anniversary of Music In Our Schools Month®, we at NAfME want to express our deepest gratitude to you — all of the music teachers who day in and day out give tirelessly of yourselves to ensure our students, the future creators, innovators, and leaders . . . and teachers!, are prepared to live out complete, fulfilling, and generous lives. The nation is indebted to you.
One month is a drop in the bucket of the time we should all be spending showing our appreciation for your profession as music educators. Nevertheless, we will take this month as an opportunity to spread the critical message about the importance of music education in our schools and the impact it has on our children. Truly the work that you do will change the world.
With deepest gratitude,
All the staff at the National Association for Music Education
