Paying it Forward

At Half Hollow Hills High School West in Dix Hills, NY, Tri-M chapter members visit elementary schools to show younger students how valuable it is to have music in their lives. The visits are also intended to counter the widely held belief that it’s harder to keep playing and being part of the music community as you get older.
