The 13th Biennial Desert Skies Symposium, sponsored by the University of Arizona College of Fine Arts/School of Music, is scheduled for February 21–23, 2013 in Tucson.
Research reports are solicited on topics related to music education research in all areas.
Papers submitted to the symposium will be considered for presentation at the event and published in the Proceedings of the 2013 Desert Skies Symposium on Research in Music Education Journal.
If you wish to have your paper considered for “Presentation Only,” please indicate this on your manuscript.
All research submissions for the 2013 symposium must be received by October 22, 2012. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
Submissions must include a separate title page, an abstract of not more than 150 words, and full paper. Manuscripts must be double-spaced, saved in Word.doc format, and submitted to Desert Skies Symposium Director Dr. Shelly Cooper, a member of the faculty of the University of Arizona School of Music, at sccooper@email.arizona.edu.
Members of the Symposium Advisory Board will review all reports via a blind-review process. Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed by November 30, 2012.
