About the Event

1st–3rd Year Educators

MMEA will host its 12th Annual two-day Mentoring Conference on Sunday, September 27 and Monday, September 28, 2026, at Tan-Tar-A Conference Center. For educators in their 1st-3rd year of teaching, the Mentoring Conference is FREE OF CHARGE with meals provided by MMEA. The only expense to new teachers will be the cost of the lodging expenses.

4th Year + Educators

All educators beyond their 3rd year of teaching are welcome to attend the MMEA Mentoring Conference!

  • A conference fee of $50 will apply and may be paid by credit card at the time of registration.
    • NOTE: All meals are included with the registration fee.
  •  Attendees are responsible for lodging expenses.

Taking place concurrently:

The Missouri NAfME-C Leadership Workshop is designed to bring together preservice music educators from around Missouri to build community and to brainstorm for tomorrow while fostering skills to take into the classroom in fieldwork, student teaching, and future careers.

September 28: The annual Missouri Tri-M Summit is designed to bring together teachers and students from schools across Missouri- regardless of Tri-M Chapter status. We want students and teachers from current Tri-M chapters, as well as those from schools interested in bringing Tri-M to their school site, whether membership has lapsed or you are just beginning to understand what Tri-M can do for you and your school’s music program!
