The Maryland Music Educators Association seeks Session Proposals and Performance Applications for the Annual State Conference during the 2025-2026 academic year. Submissions will be accepted until Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

MMEA 2025-2026 Conferences Call for Proposals

Get ready for an unforgettable day of connection, creativity, and professional growth at the 2025 MMEA Fall In-Service Conference! Join hundreds of passionate music educators from across Maryland and beyond as we gather to share ideas, sharpen our skills, and celebrate the power of music education.

This year’s conference will feature:

  • Hands-on sessions in general music, instrumental, choral, technology, equity, and more
  • Demonstration ensembles showcasing the incredible talent in our educators and students
  • Collegiate and future educator programming to support the next generation of music leaders
  • Several exhibitors sharing resources, instruments, and tech for your classroom
  • Networking events to allow for folks to connect and collaborate

Whether you’re a veteran teacher, a new educator, an administrator, or a student preparing for your career, this Music Education event is for you.

MMEA offers pricing options for active members, collegiate/student members first-year educators, retired members, and non-members. A special early-bird Double Registration rate is also available for members planning to attend both the Fall In-Service Conference (October) and the Annual State Conference (February).

Hotel block and registration for both conferences will be available staring in early August. (The Early-Bird Double Conference Registration closes in early October.)
