Cecilia Roudabush, an award-winning educator, serves as Director of Education at New Harmony Line, promoting global music engagement. She uses the Hyperscore graphic interface to inspire people of any age or ability to express themselves musically through prompts such as stories, artwork, and STEAM.
June Kinoshita is the Executive Director of New Harmony Line and a longtime advocate for creative and inclusive approaches in music education. With extensive nonprofit leadership experience and a background in science journalism, June blends expertise in communication, innovation, and community engagement. She is a graduate of Harvard College and co-founded New Harmony Line. As a champion for digital tools like Hyperscore, June is dedicated to empowering educators and learners of all backgrounds to explore and express their musical creativity.
Peter Torpey is an artist and engineer who explores the nexus of music, interface, interaction design, cognition, storytelling, and theater. He received his PhD in the Opera of the Future group at the MIT Media Lab and is Chief Technology Officer of New Harmony Line. He is the designer and engineer of cloud-based Hyperscore technology and has extensive experience teaching Hyperscore composition to educators and students in multiple countries.
NAfME presents this live virtual event at no charge to all as a service to the music education profession. To register, you must enter your NAfME member information or create a nonmember account.
