About the Event

Welcome to the 2025-2026 DCMEA Fall Professional Development Conference at Columbia Heights Education Campus! Join us for a day filled with insightful sessions and networking opportunities. This in-person event is a great chance to connect with fellow music educators and enhance your skills. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive environment. We will have a full day of sessions, a DCMEA sponsored happy hour, performances, vendors, partner organizations, and more. We look forward to seeing you there!

Registration is $25 for members and $40 for non-members.  Presenters at this conference will include amazing DC-based music educators (including DCPS’s Director of Arts Mary Lambert), national headliner Roger Emerson (Hal Leonard) and keynote speaker Marcia Neel, and many more!  There will be vendors and partner organizations present, coffee and breakfast sponsored by QuaverMusic, and the day will cap off with a happy hour from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.
