Educational Theatre Association Teacher Education Conference

NAfME members involved in theatre are invited to attend the 2024 Theatre Education Conference, taking place in Minneapolis September 26-29.

Hosted by our partner organization the Educational Theatre Association, TEC is for all theatre educators, from music teachers involved in school musicals to teaching artists to fine arts administrators. Attendees will walk away with concrete ideas to improve their practice while sparking a passion to drive student learning throughout the year.

This year for the first time there is an Early Educators Track that focuses on the nuts and bolts of starting a theatre program in both in and out of school time. In the spirit of the event theme, Building Community, it’s also an opportunity to come together with other educators who share the same challenges, joys, and triumphs – because we’re all stronger when we can learn from and celebrate with one another.
