About the Event

Integrating modern band practices into school ensembles like concert bands, orchestras, or choirs creates a more inclusive and accessible environment for students by accommodating different learning styles, interests, and abilities. This presentation will cover topics of curriculum planning and repertoire selection, instrumentation and roles, technology integration, pedagogical approaches, what to avoid, and educator training in modern band pedagogy and technology.
