About the Event

Come learn about the Praxis II Music Content/Instruction Assessment, and learn some practical tips and strategies geared toward preparing for and passing it! Dr. Tomisha Price-Brock has had exceptional success in supporting students preparing for this test. 

Tomisha Price-Brock HeadshotTomisha Price-Brock serves as Director of University Bands at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is the Owner/CEO of Prodigious Music Concepts, LLC. She has held numerous roles in music education, including the distinct honor of being the first female band director at Clark Atlanta University and in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. She is currently serving as President of the HBCU National Band and Orchestra Directors’ Consortium and serves as a Professional Development Specialist and a Teacher Licensure and Educational Consultant. 


NAfME presents this live virtual event at no charge to all as a service to the music education profession.
