About the Event
Whether stepping into a first music program leadership role or returning with renewed priorities, the first 90 days can shape the direction of the work ahead. This interactive Music Program Leaders colloquium, led by Council Chair Christopher Moseley, will explore practical approaches to building trust, assessing program needs, establishing communication systems, supporting educators, and aligning priorities with organizational goals.
Participants will examine strategies for listening and learning, identifying early opportunities, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and developing sustainable systems for the year ahead. The session will also introduce ways to connect with the NAfME Council of Music Program Leaders, contribute to future programming, and remain engaged with a broader professional community throughout the year.
NAfME presents this live virtual event at no charge to all as a service to the music education profession. To register, you must enter your NAfME member information or create a nonmember account.
