Amelia Armstrong has been a music educator at Platteville High School (Wis.)  since 2004. She teaches choirs, voice lessons, guitar, and digital music.  Armstrong also directs the musical, vocal jazz, contemporary a cappella, and is a cooperating teacher to students from UW-Platteville. She holds a BME from Wartburg College and an MME from the University of Illinois. Armstrong is a WSMA Master Adjudicator and served on the WMEA Executive Board for six years. She enjoys performing with the Isthmus Vocal Ensemble and in community theater. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, baking, and reading. In the summer of 2023 she taught in Colombia with the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms program. She and her husband Zack live in Platteville with their two sons.
