Amy Sierzega (she/her) is Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Music Education at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), where she teaches courses in introduction to music teaching, general music methods, and student teaching/internship seminars. She also serves on the UNH faculty senate and advises the UNH collegiate NAfME chapter. Sierzega earned her Ph.D. in music education at the University of Maryland, College Park, and completed her undergraduate & master’s degrees in music education at Michigan State University. Her research interests include professional development, responsive & sustaining pedagogies, and trauma-informed approaches in music education.
