Carol J. McDowell is a retired thirty-year veteran music teacher. She has completed training in Orff, Kodaly, and the American Eurhythmics Society teaching approaches and is a licensed Kindermusik and Music Rhapsody teacher. Carol is the author of a children’s book I Know An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Drum and co-author of the textbook Therapy Groups Using the Creative Arts, Second Edition. McDowell holds degrees from Southeast Missouri State University (B.M. and B.M.E.) and Florida State University (M.M.E. and Ph.D.) .
