Don Taylor teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in music education at the University of North Texas. Serving as the Coordinator of PhD Studies, his primary area of instruction is elementary general music, and his research interests focus on social justice issues in music education. He is also a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Research in Music Education and serves on the executive committee of the Society for Music Teacher Education. Dr. Taylor’s work has been published in a variety of journals, including Journal of Research in Music Education, Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education, Psychology of Music, Journal of Music Teacher Education, and Research Studies in Music Education.
