Hamidreza Niknampour is a Ph.D. candidate in Music Teacher Education at The Hartt School, University of Hartford. His research explores student engagement and the intersections of care and mental health within music education. His work has been published or accepted in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Research in Music Education, Psychology of Music, Music Educators Journal, Philosophy of Music Education Review, Early Education Journal, College Music Symposium, and Contributions to Music Education. Niknampour holds an M.A. in Classical Guitar Performance from the Iran University of Art and a B.S. in Applied Chemistry from the Isfahan University of Technology. He has nearly a decade of teaching experience across different settings, age groups, and two countries. He remains active as a solo and ensemble guitarist.
