Dr. Hyesoo Yoo is an Associate Professor of Music Education at Virginia Tech. She is a member of the editorial committees of the Journal of Research in Music Education and the Journal of General Music Education. Additionally, she was recently appointed as an Associate Editor for Music Educators Journal. Her research interests include intercultural approaches in music education, innovative uses of technology in the classroom, AI literacy in music teacher education, and equity-based curricular design. She has published in leading journals and presented internationally on teacher preparation, technology integration, and inclusive practice.
