Kathy Perconti is the Choral Director and Music Department Chair at Wayne Central High School and adjunct faculty at Finger Lakes Community College. She has served as an adjudicator, conducted All-County festivals, and currently holds the position of NYSSMA President-Elect. A recipient of the Rochester Philharmonic’s Distinguished Choral Director Award, Mrs. Perconti has also led performances at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the NYS School Board Association as well as the NYSSMA Winter Conference. She directs and choreographs for Wayne Musicals, earning multiple awards. Kathy also actively performs in community theatre. A graduate of the Crane School of Music and the University at Buffalo, she has been married to her husband Jim for 40 years and has two grown children.
