Paul Mayhew conducts choirs and teaches choral music education at the University of Central Arkansas. He taught high school choirs for 17 years in Arizona and Oregon and is beginning his 16th year of collegiate teaching. He is passionate about working with choral singers of all ages and abilities, training pre-service educators, and mentoring young teachers in the field. He has presented research and pedagogy at numerous state, regional, and national conferences including the Southwest and Southern Divisions of ACDA, and the national NAfME Conference. His research on sight-singing strategies and materials was published in 2021 by Research Perspectives in Music Education.
