Susan Meuse has been an orchestra teacher in New Jersey for twenty-three years.. She currently teaches at Churchill JHS in East Brunswick. She has also taught in her hometown of Cherry Hill as well as the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District. Susan received her BM in Education from Ithaca College and her MM in Education from Rutgers University. As a cellist, Susan freelances with various chamber ensembles and orchestras. Susan served as the Performance Chair on the NJMEA Board of Directors as well as the Orchestra Festivals chair. She is also the CJMEA treasurer and coordinates the CJMEA Middle School Honors Orchestra. Susan has twice conducted ensembles for the CJMEA Elementary Honors Orchestra. She also conducted the CJMEA Intermediate String Orchestra in 2013, the All South Jersey Junior High String Ensemble in 2014, and the CJMEA Intermediate Chamber Orchestra in 2017. Outside of music, Susan volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Middlesex County.
