Dr. Tina Beveridge is an assistant professor of music education at George Mason University. Prior to completing her doctorate, she taught choir for 17 years in K-12 and community settings. Dr. Beveridge has also taught K-12 general music, band, and community college. Her early career experiences in urban schools shaped her philosophy and research which focuses on issues of education policy and access to music instruction.
