Mr. Zachary Gates is the Music Technology and Piano teacher for East Brunswick High School and serves as the NJMEA Emerging Ensembles Chair, putting together the NJMEA Honors Modern Band. Mr. Gates also works as an adjunct professor for Westminster Choir College teaching music technology education. As a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, he has performed choral works with the New York Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra. He is a published author with Oxford University Press on integrating STEM with Music Technology in the classroom. For his work in choral conducting, he has brought high-school choral ensembles to perform at a NAfME Eastern Division Conference and at Carnegie Hall.

In addition to his work teaching music, Mr. Gates is a FOH engineer, guitarist, electronic synthesist, studio musician, and music producer for multiple artists in and around New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. He has presented workshops for Ti:ME, NAfME Eastern Division, NJMEA, GMEA, TMEA, PMEA, and the American Choral Directors Association.
