NAfME Electronic Music Composition Contest – Prizes for Schools

Deadline: April 15, 2014
 
Open to student composers from elementary school through college and graduate school.
 
One winner will be selected in each of three age categories: K-8, 9-12, Collegiate.
 
Winning compositions will be featured on the NAfME website.
 
NewCollegiate students are eligible to enter.
 
NewThe schools of the winners in each age category will receive a one-year subscription for one teacher (and up to 39 students) to Soundsation4Education courtesy of MusicFirstSoundation4Education is an online sequencing program that runs inside windows or mac browsers, with password protected access for teachers and students. It functions much like any popular sequencing program, allowing manipulation of over 1800 loops, audio editing, recording, mixing, effects and extensive MIDI features. It can be accessed from any computer 24/7, since it is cloud based and browser based.
