As a member of the informal Arts Education Policy Working Group, NAfME has endorsed a unified statement on arts education and supporting student success in school and the workforce. The document highlights research on how the arts keep students succeeding in school, build workplace success skills, are a successful career pathway, and why they must be provided to all students. These talking points can be used by music educators and other arts advocates when communicating with decision makers at the federal, state, and local levels.
