On July 15, the National Music Council honored a cappella group Take 6 and all the music educators of America as the 2021 American Eagle Award recipients during the Summer NAMM show which livestreamed on namm.org. Music educator Franklin Willis accepted the award on behalf of music teachers, and music educators representing all 50 states and Washington, DC, joined the ceremony virtually. Read more here.
