NAfME Congratulates Take 6 and the Music Educators of America as 2021 American Eagle Award Honorees

On July 15, the National Music Council honored a cappella group Take 6 and all the music educators of America as the 2021 American Eagle Award recipients during the Summer NAMM show which livestreamed on namm.org. Music educator Franklin Willis accepted the award on behalf of music teachers, and music educators representing all 50 states and Washington, DC, joined the ceremony virtually. Read more here.

Music educators can now personalize and download the certificate honoring them to display where they would like. Thank you to National Music Council for recognizing music educators!

National Association for Music Education (NAfME) also joined in congratulating both groups with an ad in the program and recognition on social media.
