Taking the 2013 Army All-American Band Through its Paces in San Antonio

 

On Jan. 1,  members of the 2013 U.S.  Army All-American Marching Band began intense,  fast-paced rehearsals, working on drill and musicality in preparation for the All-American Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 5. The band features the 120 top marching band members from across the United States.

During bowl week, the band members received instruction from top collegiate, high school and drum and bugle corps instructors from across the country as well as educational sessions with members of the U.S. Army Field Band.

2013 USAAAMB Band Director T. André Feagin, discusses the halftime performance with students. He is associate director of bands and director of athletic bands at the University of Texas at El Paso.

Nancy E. Ditmer, president of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), adddreses member of the band.

 

The All-Americans worked throughout the week to perfect the halftime performance for January 5 All-American Bowl.
