In addition to our legislative work, NAfME also advocates at the U.S. Department of Education (ED) in regulatory and implementation policy.
Although Congress creates and passes the laws that govern the United States, those laws also authorize the U.S. Department of Education and other federal agencies to help put those laws into effect by creating and enforcing regulations.
