Call for 2026 Music Program Leaders Forum Sessions

The NAfME Council of Music Program Leaders (NCMPL) is interested in proposals for sessions to be presented at the 2026 NAfME Music Program Leaders Forum taking place January 28-29, 2026, in Phoenix-Mesa, Arizona, in conjunction with the Arizona Music Educators Association State Conference. NAfME is a vibrant, diverse community of music educators, including program leaders, whose unique, valuable contributions, perspectives, and participation are critical to the success of music education at the local, state, and national level.

The theme for the 2026 forum is “From Budget to Brilliance: Building Strong Music Programs.”

The NAfME Council of Music Program Leaders is excited to invite proposals that:

  • Are administrator/leadership-oriented
  • Support and advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and access (DEIA) at all levels in the field of music education
  • Share innovative ideas that are helpful to music program leaders/fine arts coordinators in their roles of leading music/arts programs to success
  • Foster interaction and interdisciplinary connections across NAfME’s vibrant network of communities, affiliates, councils, and societies

If you are interested in proposing a session to present at the Music Program Leaders Forum on January 28-29, 2026, please complete the session proposal form. Sessions will be 50 minutes in length and should align with NAfME’s Values, Vision, and Mission.
