Online Professional Development
for Music Educators by Music Educators
The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) strives to provide music educators and education leaders with engaging professional development opportunities to support best practices.
The NAfME Academy® is a robust online, on-demand catalog of recorded webinars from NAfME. The Academy allows educators to access the relevant professional development they need to further enhance their teaching and serve the needs of students through dynamic and effective materials and learning opportunities.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The NAfME Academy is currently being updated and transitioned to a new NAfME Learning Center (learning management system). When the new version of the NAfME Academy launches this summer, it will become free—a member benefit—for NAfME members. Because of this transition, we are not able to add new subscribers at this time to the NAfME Academy. If you already have access to the Academy, you will have access to it through May 31 to complete items you are working on.
If you have questions or need access for your professional development purposes to a wide variety of recent NAfME webinar recordings (for members only), please contact John Donaldson, Assistant Executive Director for Professional Development and Publications, firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you want to register for an upcoming webinar or have an idea for a webinar proposal you would like to share, please visit NAfME’s main webinar page for details on how to submit a presentation proposal for review by the Professional Development Committee.
