NAfME and Give a Note Foundation have joined forces again this year to celebrate Music In Our Schools Month with a week-long bus tour – this year the tour will feature The Voice (season 2) alum and The Valory Music Co. artist, RaeLynn. RaeLynn recently performed her hit single, “God Made Girls” on The Voice and she has been named an iHeart Radio artist “On The Verge”.
This year, in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Music In Our Schools Month, RaeLynn has co-written a song FOR music students everywhere! RaeLynn, along with the Boston Brass, debuted the song at the recent NAfME National In-Service Conference. We are excited to announce that “Always Sing” is a feature song for the 2015 Concert for Music In Our Schools Month. The sheet music and rehearsal tracks are available now – so download the music, start rehearsing and upload your school ensemble performing “Always Sing”. Schools who submit their video of “Always Sing” as part of the Concert for MIOSM will be eligible for yet-to-be-announced surprises along the tour. Last year, the tour stopped at five schools and provided each music program with a concert and a $1000 Give a Note grant!
