After the Young Composer Concert, the student composers will participate in a Young Composer Forum, an informal discussion facilitated by a panel of composers and composition teachers. The panelists will be Dr. Rob Deemer, Dr. Daniel Deutsch, Dr. Michele Kaschub, Matt Lovell, Ken Steen, and Dr. David Stringham. All conference attendees are welcome to attend and join in the conversation.
In addition, Thursday, April 4, 2013 will feature a special Focus on Composition and Technology, with exciting sessions for music educators and college music education majors.
