2020 NAfME Elections: Officers and Bylaw Amendments

NAfME online elections are now open to eligible members and will remain open through February 12, 2020 (11:59 PM Eastern).

Voter instructions were emailed by Election America, NAfME’s online elections provider, on January 14. These emails were sent under the sender’s address,  help@election-america.com .  Please check spam and junk folders if the email is not in an inbox.    If you do not find the voter instructions, contact Adriane Darvishian adrianed@nafme.org .

Bylaw Amendments 

The following two Amendments have been proposed by the National Executive Board to be voted on in the January, 2020, election for the National Association for Music Education.

Ballot Question- Bylaw I, Membership; Section 4. A., Collegiate Membership Eligibility.

Shall the bylaws of the National Association for Music Education be amended to expand the definition of Collegiate membership to include students who are not, or are not yet, enrolled in music teacher education programs?

Shall the bylaws of the National Association for Music Education be amended to allow Collegiate members to vote in national elections (that is, for National President-Elect or for Division President-Elect)?
